When the University of Texas at Austin wins a national championship in a sport, the UT Tower is lit in orange lights with the number 1 displayed on all four sides. The evening after the 1/4/2006 Rose Bowl win over USC, the tower was lit and there was a constant stream of onlookers, photographers, and news crews hanging around. It was somewhat difficult getting positioned for a dead-center shot, but I did my best under the circumstances. The tower can be difficult to photograph - for example, too little exposure and you can see office furniture inside the lighted windows, and too much will blow the image completely. I opted to expose enough to allow the windows to show up brightly lit, but at the cost of blowing out the clock a bit. With fewer folks around, I might have taken the time to do a better job on these, but you work with the situation you find yourself in...
