yeah I so wish I had a tripod, but flower was blowing all over in the wind anyway, so still would have been blurry. wind was quiet because recent fire had burned most of the plants that normally would have rustled. I had just parked the motorbike to go for a run on the road to "Die Hel" near Oudtshoorn, by the time I came back it was moonlight-only, and then I discovered my headlight fuse had blown. I didn't want to fix it with wire in case it started electrical fire--but to be honest I mostly wanted an excuse to ride by moonlight. So I had a slow and beautiful ride for the next hour or two on glowing white gravel until I reached the paved road and immediately a guesthouse.
