4/15-16/06 Chicks Hatch in Nest 1

Obvious regurgitation and feeding behavior from heron on nest one and movement seen through twigs in nest! Single heron seen on this nest. Nest 2 had both heron present with the male on the nest and the female bring a twig to the nest. Then both heron flew off together and remained off the nest for almost an hour with the eggs exposed to the elements (50's-low 60's temp, light rain and moderate wind). It seemed that this was as excessively long period to be off the eggs so close to the expected time of hatching (one week or less).
