This is great for getting the feel of a doubledecker ride. That wide angle lens is fantastic for a shot like this at St. Peter's.
Some try to keep other tourists out of their shots, but part of Rome IS what it was in Michelangelo's time. Church officials and those on a 'pilgrimage' :-) Visitor excitement is a large part of Rome. Also this gives more of the spatial experience of being at St. Peter's than the usual static photo of the place.
