drawing of the paddlers 1330

Two of the bones depict a canoe with mythical figures, commemorating the death of the ruler Siyaj Chan K'awiil as the maize god. The second bone in the previous shot shows the canoe sinking, or going to the underworld.

The drawing is in the lobby of the Tikal Inn, and the red bows were added as Christmas decorations.

Who made the drawing? When? And on ___ ? It's beautiful. The red bows do mix the religious aspects.
