Hemingway's House

Ernest Hemingway lived in a house on a hilltop on the outskirts of Havana from 1939 to 1960. The house and belongings were recently restored after neglect and humidity damage.

He wrote comments in the margins of his books, which are now being digitized before the books rot.

You cannot go inside the house; the interior photos are through open windows.
