MB's Infamous Donkey Tail Plant

In anticipation of getting the yard ready for the house to sell I cut these back early. The milky substance was toxic and caused a severe rash. This plant lasts through the Virginia winters and in the Spring it blooms, dies back and this is the new growth of the secondary plant. Wait for the Spring plant to dry out or face the wrath of the rash.

Sue, the only cure I found over-the-counter was VERY expensive. A Ponder friend put me in touch with ZANFEL It's extremely expensive as I recall - something like $25 for 1 oz tube. But it was a Godsend I can tell you.

I wish I had known this earlier...I had a bad reaction after cutting mine back yesterday. Today I broke out again after touching something with the substance on it. All information says it is not toxic....YA RIGHT!
