Spiced Pecans
10 oz pecans
1-1/2 tsp cumin
2 T. sugar
2 T. butter
¼ tsp cayenne
1 tsp salt
Melt butter and add cumin, cayenne, and salt.
Stir and cook until aromatic, about 2 minutes.
Pour over nuts and stir to coat.
Add sugar and mix thoroughly.
Place in 300 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Artichoke Dip
1 cup fresh parmesan cheese wedge
1 cup mayonnaise
6-oz jar marinated artichokes
1 T. grated onion
½ tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
In food processor, add cheese and mix until it looks granular.
Add mayonnaise.
Drain most of liquid from artichokes and add them; grate onion and add to mixture, with lemon juice and seasoning.
Process until reasonable smooth (mixture will be a little grainy, and should be to give it texture.)
Bake in a small casserole at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes-uncovered, until slightly brown on top. Serve hot or cold.
