This pair of Yellow-rumped Warblers came into the yard and began to pick up feathers and feather tufts. At first I thought they were gathering nest material, but they didn't leave with anything they picked up. Perhaps their hormones had kicked in a little early before they had arrived at their nesting destination.

Both Birds Fly Down into the Grass
The Male Picks Up a Feather
He Then Picks Up a Larger Feather
He Carries it for Awhile
He Drops that Feather and Chooses Another
Now She Takes One and Flies Up Into a Tree
The Male Then Picks Another Feather From the Ground
