Every April, when the apple trees in our yard start to bloom, a male Yellow Warbler, sometimes two, show up in our yard. We wake up on a sunny morning to hear the notes of his song from the yard. This morning was that day. My wife and I walked outside and found him in the large hemlock at the edge of the yard. We hope he stays around, as he usually does, sings in a mate and nests in our maple trees.
