This adult male Lawrence's warbler, a result of hybridization between Blue-winged Warblers and Golden-winged Warblers, was found singing the Blue-winged song on territory near a small stream here in Buchanan County VA. The habitat was low growth bushes and shrubs, coming back after the trees had been removed some years before. Not great photos but taken against a sky of white clouds.
