Members of the Buchanan County (VA) Bird Club were joined by members of the Russell County (VA)Bird Club for a great day of birding in the highest valley in VA at 3000 ft. We had a record number of 11 Golden Eagle sightings and one Bald Eagle. One Golden Eagle circled right over us, giving me a good opportunity for photos. It was cloudy at the time, so the photos could have been better. We had 38 species of birds for the day.

Nice photos We enjoy the photos of people amongst the bird photos and thephoto of the cows in a v. Tom and Laverne
