Melanistic Fox Squirrel

I found and photographed this melanistic (too much pigment) Fox Squirrel on the bank of the Clinch River in Richlands VA on March 9, 2016. This squirrel has three distinct colors of fur, black, gray and brown. This squirrel may have a problem with its left eye. It appears to be a pastel blue color.
