Our day started at 7am with breakfast in the hotel. Actually, the food was fine. They had hash brown potatoes, eggs, sausages, and other items. It turned out to be a fine meal. Our bus took us down a main street called Moscow Prospect. If it wasn't for the Russian words we could have been in any American city. Our first stop was a tour of the famous Hermitage Museum. This place in incredible...so big and so much art. "1001 Nights"...I was not impressed. Most enjoyed the food. After, we went to a place, which I can't remember the name, where the opening ceremony for the festival was held. It was the chance we got to hear the Russian singers sing American barbershop. Every singer was given a lovely commerative medal. I'll take a picture of it and post later. Dinner was at a place called "Lenin Lives"...to me it was okay. We got back to the hotel around 9:30pm and it is still light out. This far north it doesn't get dark until about 10pm. To bed to rest for another day.
