Shrines are an unique artistic heritage of Genova.
Built in a long period, from Middle Age to XIX century, with different styles from gothic to baroque, they are about 300 spreaded in the well known Centro Storico of the town.
Mainly dedicated to Mary they have different stories connected to either the religious or the civil tradition of the people of Genova.
A specific tour worths the time.
