PROVENCE

Provence (and Cote d'Azur) is one of my favourite places to travel as the atmosphere is really relaxed, weather is fine almost the whole year and the historical heritage is really interesting.

Mainly this year I stayed in Camargue as I consider it a real different world: water and land are mixed together under a bright blue sky cleared by the "mistral", white horses are free in the meadows and many different kinds of birds are available for nice photo tours.
Bulls, horses and pink flamingos are the symbols of Camargue.
The proximity of Arles, Nimes, Orange and St. Remy de Provence allows you a "dive" in the romans culture (I did only Arles this time).

Then I moved to Vaucluse and Luberon ending my journey in Aix-en-Provence celebrating Paul Cezanne.

On the trip back home a nice driving from St. Raphael to Nice has completed it.

In april 2008 I came back to Camargue for three days and again in september I went to Hyeres for a week during which I have visited the well-know Porquerolles island, the Calanques and many other places
