Galloping Goose and Walkers
Galloping Goose's golden trail
This linear park trail goes from Sooke to Victoria is 55 kms long where it intersects another regional trail from Saanich to Sidney and is a small part of the Trans Canada Trail which link trails from coast to coast. It was established in 1987.
It used to be a railway that went from Leechtown to Victoria British Columbia in Canada. The park is named for the gas-powered passenger and mail carrying train that went by twice daily in the 1920's. A perfect flat walking trail and you can see horses and bike riders enjoying its multi use.
