LION'S GATE BRIDGE
---CORRECTION---
IN MY NAIVETY I MISSNAMED THE BRIDGE.
IT IS NOT THE IRON WORKERS MEMORIAL SECOND NARROWS CROSSING
The Lions Gate Bridge spans between Stanley Park on one side and North\West Vancouver on the other side. Lions Gates Bridge is a 3 lanes bridge and they alternate the lanes to 2 going one way durring rush hours.
Second Narrows is the bridge, between North Vanc and Vancouver, what is called East Vancouver.
Lions Gate Bridge was privatly build back in the 40s if I recall, was a paying bridge for ages, until they collected what it had cost to built it. If you didn't want to pay to cross it, then your other choice was the Second Narrows or even further before Second Narrows was built. It meant at least 1 more hour stuck in the traffic then!.
In 1986, durring the International Expo, they installed lights all along the top cables and only mountain climbers were brave enough and skilled enough to do that!
Worked in Topaz.

NO YOU ARE NOT HALLUCINATING. THERE STILL IS A WHITE SPOT DRIVE IN.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MIGHT NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DRIVE THROUGH AND A DRIVE IN......THE DRIVE IN IS WHERE YOU PARK IN THE LOT AND A SERVER COMES TO YOUR CAR WINDOW TO TAKE YOUR ORDER.....A DRIVE THROUGH IS WHERE YOU GO TO THEIR WINDOW.
WITH A DRIVE IN THEY TAKE YOUR ORDER AND THEN BRING YOU YOUR FOOD ON A TRAY (IT USED TO BE ON A TRAY THAT HOOKED TO YOUR PARTIALLY OPEN WINDOW). NOT SURE IF IT IS SERVED ON A TRAY ANYMORE. GUESS I SHOULD HAVE TRIED IT.
THIS WHITE SPOT IS ON: 333 BROOKSBANK AVE, #1100
NORTH VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA

STOPPED IN TRAFFIC WE SAW THIS. WHAT WAS IT USED FOR? A BAKERY OR SAUSAGE FACTORY? IT LOOKS LIKE A LARGER VERSION OF MY KITCHEN AID MIXER. I'D WELCOME ANY SUGGESTIONS.
