Out of the way and Santa can't miss this one.

SOMETHING WE HAVE DONE WITH OUR TREE FOR MANY YEARS AS THE SPACE IN THE LIVINGROOM SEEMED TO GET SMALLER AND SMALLER. IT WORKED FOR KEEPING OUR CATS OUT OF THE TREE TOO.

PLEASE LET ME TAKE THIS TIME TO WISH ALL OF MY PBASE FRIENDS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON TO ALL.

What an "uplifting" Christmas greeting!
I had a friend who used to hang a tree over his dining room table, upside-down! He would remove the hanging lamp from over the table and wire the lights.
It was totally bizarre but fun!

I didn't believe it at first til I read it.

What a brilliant idea, you have a very high ceiling and this works beautifully. Wonderful lighting and soft mellow ambiance here. Most attractive cozy sitting/living room.
