I do not have any technical comments as to the standard of your photography or the way you have used the natural light to enhance the shot; however I must say that your pictures remind me of my childhood. I am a native of the Island with my family still living there. I migrated to Australia 20 years ago but these pictures remind me of a time long since past. A time of innocence, fun and great joy.

It would be great if you could get a photo of Gold Hill in Shaftesbury (I don't know how close that is to where you are). I only mention this because this photo sort of reminds me of it and for the fact that my aunt used to live in the thatched house (or so my uncle told me - although there is no doubt at all that she lived on the street) [Mmmmm, I wonder if she still owns the house.... I must be her closest living relative ;-)]
