Troubled Waters (II)

This is a pseudo HDR (what you would normally do with autobracketing, I've done in the PP, creating two extra files. One with the highlights pushed just enough not to burn the brightest pixel out and one drowning the shadows before the darkest pixel turns solid black). Those two and the original one were then combined and tonemapped using Photomatix.

For those who are interested, here is the image file as it came out of the camera. Let me know what you think.

I think you did a great job in postprocessing. It's difficult to imagine that there is so much colour in the original image...

Splendid technique! It worked wonders for this photo! I will try that sometime.
