Image captured on December 28th at 9:37 p.m. EST from Hallam Observatory. This is a single JPG image 30 second exposure at ISO 1600 with Canon 6D and 400mm f/5.6 L lens wide open at f/5.6. When I aggressively stretch the image the tail extends just over 1 degree. Globular cluster M79 is just above the comet.
