A visit to a friend whose home is on a peninsula with the Salmon River in his back yard and the Sandy river across the street in front. Both rivers flooded that night and took out some homes in other areas. The weather was very warm and wet. The area is named Brightwood, perhaps for the yellow leaves of autumn.
