Here is a shot of Martinique from another recent shoot at the new studio. This was an old 1930s dressing table we bought and arranged with props. Had some fun with various lighting.
Thought I’d tell you about a shoot coming up this weekend. We are on location at an old building that was once an Elk’s Club and now functions as a community art center. They have a fantastic Art Deco bar. The ceiling is stylized white curves accented in lime green. It has a great bar (now unused) that part of the shoot will take place in. We have 6 or 7 models committed to the shoot and we will be outfitting them in various outfits including old gowns and period hats. They will also be wearing gangster style suits. Fog machine is planned. The other site in the building we plan on shooting in is a 1950s bowling alley. Again retro clothes and accessories. I think it’s going to be great fun. I love pretending and I guess I’m still a kid at heart. Photography let’s me do this stuff. If it all works out, pictures to follow here soon.
