My good friend Steve and I own a small photo studio called, “The Wow Factory” in our hometown of Bloomsburg, Pa. It’s a place where our photo friends and local artists gather to drink coffee, and talk about photography, and more importantly, a place that Steve and I can work on our own photographic pursuits. Steve does a lot of glamour and model shoots, and I do a bit of experimental macro photography and studio set up work. Of late Steve has invited me to participate in his model shoots, which has been something of a new experience for me. I’m learning a lot about studio lighting and I must say really enjoying myself in new creative ways. This is an image from a shoot this past Monday with a terrific model named “Natasha.” She was really easy to work with and loved to experiment. Not sure if I would call this a “glamour” shot exactly, but thought is was a compelling image anyway, so I hope you like it.
