This is a recent view of an abandoned building that I had previously visited and photographed. Since I have been searching out old abandoned buildings to explore and photograph lately, I was drawn back to this structure because of the fabulous spiral stairway. I just love the grace of the stairs. It is nothing short of spectacular. I’d love to have the stair as part of my home, but besides not knowing who the owner is and the massive cost and difficulty that project would involve, I’m afraid it's only a pipe dream. This shot was taken through a hole in the back wall of the structure. The building is north of Exeter, Pa. along the Susquehanna River. I still don’t know what the buildings original use was, though I’ve tried to find out on line.
