Back inside the abandoned factory of H.W. Warshow & Sons, Inc. in Milton, Pennsylvania (See previous photo for a wide photo overview.) They were a company that manufactured and marketed stretch fabrics. The records show they went out of business a few years ago due to foreign competition.
I found this bolt of brilliant pink fabric attached to the back wall and then dropping down from the wall to lay in a tangled heap on the concrete floor. Right next to the fabric also laying on the factory floor, was a copy of a book titled, “The Art of Dyeing”. The juxtaposition of these two images was too much for me to resist putting together.
