Here is another portrait of the same Amish young man seen in the previous post. I thought I’d post this second version because I thought the shovel stored in the barn lath seemingly floating above his head gave this portrait a very different feel than the first one. I’d really like your opinions on your view between the two shots. In this shot he had just finished shoveling the last of the feed corn from the wagon he’s standing on, and was waiting to go back out in the fields to work at hand picking the last of the crops.
