David at the corn shredder.

Amish harvest.
I was watching the Amish farmers processing the corn stalks into animal feed by grinding and shredding. Standing just out of range of the corn mulch airborne stream I thought it might be an interesting photo if the corn mulch stream was coming at the camera and me. I motioned to David to shoot it more in my direction on his next pass. He obliged. I got totally covered with the entire stream of the stuff. If you notice his expression of joy as he is about to cover me completely. He did a moment later. I’m still picking corn and pieces of corn stalk out of my hair clothes and camera. I chatted with David again today and we both laughed about covering the English guy with a full stream of corn feed. Anything for the photo, right? Yea, the dumb English guy. :-)

Wonderful capture and story. What a privilege to be a part of...even the corn pieces :)
