Yesterday is the first time in a while that I managed to get out and take pictures. I ended up at my favorite junkyard with the intent of shooting some macro images. I was inside a junkyard building where they sort various metals for recycling. The guys working there have gotten used to my presence over the past few years and are always interested in the things I photograph in their building. Yesterday one of the guys called me over to see a spider and it large web. They told me that it’s been living there for quite a while and that no one wants to bother it. Sort of live and let live. Sure enough there the little fellow was outside his lair waiting for some unfortunate insect that lands too close to his web. I shot quite a few pictures of him, but I like this one because of his proximity to his front door. The lair was in a hole inside of a cement barrier. (I know some folks get creeped out over spiders, but I find them fascinating, especially at a distance)
