Frank Lloyd Wright (born Frank Lincoln Wright, June 8, 1867 – April 9, 1959) was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1,000 projects, which resulted in more than 500 completed works.
Wright was recognized in 1991 by the American Institute of Architects as "the greatest American architect of all time".

Here is a good link to get another overview of Wright’s work.

“Form follows function-that has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union.”
Frank Lloyd Wright, 1908
“The longer I live the more beautiful life becomes.”
Tonight I’m referencing Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City.

“The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City occupied Wright for 16 years (1943–1959)[48] and is probably his most recognized masterpiece.” (wikipedia)
Wright’s influence is enormous and trying to do a synopsis here would prove to be futile. I’ve included some links to some sources to find out in detail about his life and works. I’ve been to the Guggenheim Museum many times and find it to be one of my favorite museums not only for its contents but my love of the architecture. My photo of rubber rings has a similar concentric structure much like the distinctive form of the museum. Anyway my photo got me thinking about the museum again.
