Homage to Frank Gehry.

Frank Owen Gehry, CC (born Frank Owen Goldberg; February 28, 1929) is a Canadian American Pritzker Prize-winning architect based in Los Angeles, California.
His buildings, including his private residence, have become tourist attractions. His works are often cited as being among the most important works of contemporary architecture in the 2010 World Architecture Survey, which led Vanity Fair to label him as "the most important architect of our age".

Today’s image comes from the junkyard again. (I spend a lot time in junkyards so it must mean something? I’ll save that for another time.) This image is taken of heavy metal mesh. (Fencing perhaps?) The way it was rolled or stacked made beautiful three-dimensional curves, very sculptural and very reminiscent of Frank Gehry’s beautiful architecture. He sometimes designs is a similar manner, that is by rolling and folding materials that become inspiration for full size buildings. He is the preeminent architect of our time and has built some of the most beautiful buildings in the world. His Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California and his masterpiece the “Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain are pure curvilinear beauty.

It's a great composition, and appropriate for that architect. Well done.

The comparison to Gehry elevates this already fascinating image to another level.
