This is some of the other work from my "Essential Humanity" project. These photos were taken on the streets of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I choose Wilkes-Barre because it is a medium sized city about a hour from my home. I wanted to compare the problems in a city of it's size with what I was seeing on the streets of Manhattan. I have worked on the streets of Manhattan for about five years and Wilkes-Barre about three. All my photos are taken with the subjects permission.
