September 13

This afternoon, a photographer friend and I visited Arlington National Cemetery. We made it over to the Tomb of the Unknowns and got to watch the "Changing of the Guard" ceremony. It was the first time either of us had seen it.

This works very well in B&W. Super capture! I have lived here in the capital city of Canada for 23 years and only observed my first changing of the guard ceremony this year.

Very cool shot and very effective in b&w the way you composed it. I used to live across the river in Georgetown and was always impressed to see this. "V"
