Hey, stumbled across your photo from the nat'l arboretum while poking around on DPReview.com. I too live in DC (actually over in Arlington) and love going out to the arboretum, especially in spring. Would you mind if i troubled you with a gear question? I see you shoot with a Nikon D80 and have a Tamron 17-50 2.oF lens. ('ve read the reviews of that lens and hear good things about it. What's your impression of its benefit over the stock nikon kit lens? I usually shoot with the Nikon 18-135 zoom. I toy with upgrading my camera body before sinking too much money into one line of lens or another. Any thoughts you can share on the benefits of going for the higher quality lense would be much appreciated. Thanks, Craig Carlson
your pictures are wonderful!
I would like ask you something...
i would be very honored if...
my goal is to show photos other than mine in an album on my website.
it would be an honor and a pleasure if i could put one of your photo and a direct link to YOUR galleries here.
I am a true 'amateur'. I want to have an album from others photographs, with just a photo from them and a direct link to their website. It is just for the fun of seing photographies. I just start this album a few days ago...it will make my own website more interesting, in particular for me!. Very few people look (i think ) my website, this is normal because it is new and i just put a few of my pictures, and they are not so interressant (i hope to do better) and i have some problems to define whitch ones are good in mine.
But it is interesting because the others photographers will also have a look (maybe later) at the others ones. And the photographers are very different from one another. You can see that in the 'album' guest of my site if you want..
The most important thing maybe to know is that you don't have anything to wait from this! Probably some other people will look at your gallery (first me) , but my website is very very modest and simple! The 'guest' gallery is a big challenge for me, because it will be of course the most interessant gallery (it is already!), so i have to make beautiful pictures in the others galleries, witch are mine. I didn't put yet a lot of my photos
Anyway, don't worry about 'copyright' (i write it under your photo), i will have only a 200-400ko maximum photo from you, and then the direct link goes to your site, it is not mine anymore.
Furthermore, if anybody who has a picture in my 'guest' Album ask me to remove this photo and the link, i will do that immediatly without any arguing.
If you want, look at the page 'guest' and you will understand what i intent to do.
If you don't agree, no problem, i can undestand that!
anyway, if you want to show one of your pictures on www.phipop.com, you will be very very welcomed, sooner or later, with a direct link to your own gallery.
Thanks a lot!
(Please excuse my poor english)
