The first half of the album I tried to keep classic and simple, documenting the ceremony, family, and luncheon. The party that evening was so colorful, I decided to capture the energy and fun of the evening with several vivid, complementary colors as backgrounds.
If a client would like to change a background color, or swap out a photo, I can always adjust the album for them. The album design process is a collaborative one. Jonathan's mom picked about 140 photos, and I added several of my favorites. This album is a bit large, coming in at 52 pages, rather than my standard 40, and includes about 188 photos. However, it's still a managable size, and I feel really captures their special day!
This album was designed to be a 10x10 album. Digitally designed albums are wonderful in many aspects. One bonus, besides being able to showcase many more photos than in a traditional album, is that once the initial design work is done, grandparent or 'clone' albums can be made at a very reasonable price. We can also reduce the size of the album to an 8x8, as well as reduce the number of pages, to further reduce the cost.
