I used to think of November as a drab interlude between the riotous color of the October landscape and the beauty of the snowfalls that often begin in December. As I've grown older, I've come to appreciate the subtle beauty that resides in the grays and browns and muted golds of November, often highlighted by that special low angle of the late autumn light. I hope this gallery shows that there is much to delight the eye in the shortening days of November.
