obscenely large pano

5 meg JPG (which is something like 1/40th the dimensions of the original image (that was a 700MB Photoshop image)

90 images, merged in to 30 HDR's then hand stitched in to 1 pano...

I know I said I'd never do this ever again... I hate it when I lie to myself

Pieter - about 5 hours... gave up on using 16 bit images for the final alignment and layering and accepted the "Low Fi" qualities by converting them to 8 bit (and ran with the whole lofi idea). 30 layers of 16bit images blew the file size out to over 1.5 GB and it took 30 seconds just to nudge a layer a single pixel - I'd still be there a day later doing that at 16 bit Milos: at 261672 x 3888 pixels for the original I figured I could print it at 2 x 11.5 meters ... pity I don't have any walls 11.5 meters long to hang it on
