Hi Marvin,

All GREAT images!!! Marvin, I'm just a novice and don't have a budget on an 24-70L (best walk-around lens for my 350D), the 28-135IS USM is soft, don't think will get close to any of your images...my choice would be a tamron 18-200 f/3.5-6.3 XR Di-II (has wide-tele range) and very affordable...need your personal opinion. Thanks. Very inspired with your galleries (best in Pbase!) - JOM

Awesome Nightshots! I've always experimented taking nighshots but never matched your images. Maybe I never got the perfect timing and weather here in Hong Kong. Always view your galleries (Color of Night) for inspiration!!! Great job in making Hong Kong more picture perfect!

hi marvin,

incredible photographs of hong kong! i especially love your shots of the ching ma bridge and the 2 traffic long exposures. i'm just wondering how you were able to get so many interesting perspectives (for e.g. the 30##_N30 pic of ching ma).

i am going to be in HK in april, and hope to take some good shots of this photographic city. i was last in HK in 2001 and took a panoramic shot of the skyline at night from kowloon. only it's a print (not digital) and i didn't stitch it too well. have a look:http://www.pbase.com/image/2463959/large

I've been in HK many times..and believe me... I'll tried to take pictures to all places like you did...but I never found the way to make them look like yours...Amazing.. congrats..I've always said that there was no way to transfer your live impresions to a picture...but I can tell..you're very close to it... I have a Canon S30 and now that G3 was launched..I guess you can't wait..
