A fabulous collection, Marvin. My hat is off to you. I will watch for more of your work.
This is a nice gallery. I especially love the patterns, sharp contrasts, pieces of life, and wispy grasses. Well, I guess that means every image! Nice work! You obviously enjoy this. It shows in your work.

Hi, Sever, thank you for your comments. Perhaps, i should add more information about my images. But I would like to tell you some images' information will be deleted after retouched by P.S.. It is not my intention to hide any information about my photos. Besides, I had no any intention to inject cynicism in my works. High contrast images are my favor expression tool. I am sorry about my poor technique to make your confusion.
I think you do wonderful B&W work in terms of composition, but I can't help but notice images such as 5186s. It seems like they have a very overprocessed feel, almost as if you've gone in using Photoshop and cut out most of the tonal information on purpose, especially at the high end. The image was obviously not taken at a high ISO setting, so I wonder why this and other images (like the fruit in wicker basket still life on page 2, to mention one other) are so posterized.
It's almost a surrealist approach, and I can't decide if it's appropriate. Why go to all the work of capturing such an exacting perspective and then strip out the character, the heart and soul of the image? These are truly compelling compositions, but I can't help wondering if it was your intention to inject such a high degree of cynicism. I get this cynical vibe because it's almost as if you're using such fine grain but high contrast to point out that such compelling beauty is still only skin deep. Is this what you meant to say?
Very nice B&W gallery, Marvin! Lovely compositions! Look forward to more. CK
