Elliptical and S0 Galaxy Group in Pisces, 209 MLY. NGC 382, is a close companion of NGC 383, and is probably interacting with it. Radio galaxy 3C31 (NGC 383), is the dominant galaxy of a prominent chain of galaxies. This system is a powerful radio source, with jets of relativistic streams of high energy particles which stretch to a distance of 1 Mly from the central black hole which is accreting matter.
