Uncle Fred was married to Jeanette, Verner and my mother's sister Sybel until she passed away in 1997. Uncle Fred served in the Army during World War 2 under General Patton and others. He lost the use of his right hand when he was shot during fighting in Germany. He is the oldest living World War 2 vet in Bartow County Georgia.
