Linda and I decided to take a ride in the country around Blue Ridge. We left Blue Ridge and travel Highway 60 toward Dahlonega. We turned off 60 at Rock Creek Road and followed Rock Creek past the Fish Hatchery. We then took Forest Service Road 42 up Springer Mountain. Near the top we cut off on Forest Service Road 77 and came down by Jones Creek in Lumpkin County. Once we got back on pavement we went by Amicalola Falls State Park and headed toward Ellijay on Highway 52. We turned off Highway 52 on Big Creek Road and followed it back to Aska Road in Blue Ridge. Total miles 48 total time 4 hours.
