The Geotube was to protect the beach against erosion. Sadly it was crushed and parts were washed away last June in a terrible storm! It saved the beach, but is no more along Pirates Beach in Galveston. So I start off my June PAD in dedication to the Geotube, with fond remembrances of last year's holiday on the beach. And glad the beach is still there!
