The word for tower in spanish is "torre" and the article that precedes it is feminine. So it is called "la torre". The plural is "las torres".
I've been here in December when the peaks were snow-capped and the waters a deep aquamarine colour. The driver of the small bus that drove us to see them said the waters are bitterly cold.
