I found this hawk the first morning I hiked through this area.
But my first photo resulted in him turning his head, just before taking flight.
I returned the next morning, only to be met with a slight drizzle,
which must have kept him at home watching cartoons.
The third morning was a charm, as he gives me his best "hawk eye" stare.
