Here are some pictures from a trip up to Whistler, where I stopped to hike up the Stawamus Chief. The Chief is the second largest granite monolith in the world, formed by magma that cooled in an ancient volcano. The cliffs are 700m high and great for climbing. http://www.stawamuschiefpark.ca/
