Scott Kelby's Blog
In my humble opinion this is the best photographic blog on the web.
I also think that Scott writes the best, and most easily understood Photoshop tutorial books available. Terrific information, and written in a very engaging and fun style.

Glyn Dewis Blog
A UK based photographer, who has a very distinctive style. Shoots portraiture mainly. More importantly he is a brilliant Photoshop user, and is very open about the techniques he uses. And puts together great tutorials. You will also find his tutorials on YouTube.

Charlie Waite
Charlie is the photographer who inspires me the most. His photographs display a deceptive simplicity and a balance that really speaks to me. If only I was half as good as this guy.
In May 2011 I shall be with Charlie in the Dordogne region of France on a photography holiday - a present from my wife. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

David Noton
Another photographer that I admire enormously. His landscapes and travel photographs are composed in meticulous detail. His books (Waiting For The Light and Full Frame) and DVD's are inspiring and a great resource for pragmatic and common sense advice. His blog (updated regularly) is also worth a look.

David Ward
David Ward that can see artistic detail in the most mundane of objects, and find the unusual in the most over-photographed of places. David inspires me to take a harder look at both macro and micro subjects and un-lock the photographic potential. He also writes very eloquently on the more philosophical aspects of photography. I really enjoyed his book "Landscape Within".

Joe Cornish
A superb, world renowned photographer, Joe's landscape images are simply stunning. To spend time studying one of his images is to receive an expert lesson in composition and use of light.

Dennis Bromage
The way Dennis uses light and colour in his landscapes marks him out as an exceptional photographer. Another site I regularly visit for inspiration.

Many Disher
I enjoy taking still life compositions of flowers and it is Mandy's site I turn to for inspiration and ideas. Mandy has mastered a superb technique of blending backgrounds with the flower image to produce the most gorgeous works of art.

Sue Bishop
Sue specialises in flower photography. Her composition and use of colour and light turn her images into true works of art.

iStockphoto
Before starting a new project or visiting a fresh location, I visit this site to see how other photographers have interpreted the subject. This usually gets my inspirational muscle twitching.

Photo.net
A community of talented photographers. I tend to judge myself against the quality I find on this site - and I usually come up short! A regular scan through the galleries of newly posted images usually gives me loads of ideas for photo shoots and often inspires me to re-work some of my existing images.

dpreview
The ultimate one stop shop for all your photographic needs: a forum for getting questions answered about your camera, software, composition, lighting etc, etc. or you can post an image and get a critique. Find in-depth reviews on new products (of all the review sites on the web, these are the ones I trust the most). Plus competitions to be entered. Be warned - you can spend hours just browsing this site.

Photography Monthly
I upload images to this magazines in the hope they will publish them in their "Reader's Gallery" section. To date they are considering three of my images in a one-off special due to be printed in June.

ePHOTOzine
An online photo magazine that I dip in and out of on a regular basis. Has a forum and online photo galleries and good reviews of new product releases. A good number of people believe this to be the best online photographic magazine.

Before & After magazine
A great resource when developing your own website, logo or banners. Gives you the basic design skills and ideas to make your finished work stand out from the crowd.

Tipsquirrel
Photoshop techniques and tutorials. Updated regularly. I have learnt quite a lot from this site.

Jessops
Simply the place I go to for most of my photographic needs.

Colour codes
I use this site for selecting colours and their respective RGB values when building or tweaking my web site. Also a useful resource when designing a banner or logo.

Colour scheme generator
Useful for finding complimentary or matching colours for banner/logo designs. Also for colour co-ordinating still life compositions.

Padiham & District Photographic Society
My local club. Just started attending meetings. Seems a good bunch of guys.
