I struggled to find a composition of the hydrangea bloom that I was happy with until I fitted my macro lens. Just as I was about to take the shot the sun began to shine through a thin veil of cloud... an added bonus.

Used Photoshop CS5 to process the image. However a simple s-curve boost and sharpening was all that was required.
