Grythyttan is a small village in Hällefors Municipality, Örebro County, Sweden. A former mining town made famous in the 1970s as a culinaric center in Sweden. Grythyttan Gästgivargård (restaurant) was made famous by its proprietor Carl Jan Granqvist and patronized by Swedish and international celebrities. In Grythyttan also have a chef and restaurant management school, and a Cookbook museum.
